ABSTRACT

Description of acoustic device for flow speed measurement and the results of some measurements in real sea are presented in the paper. The measurements were carried out in Baltic Sea at depths up to 30 m near Primorsk city and up to 80 m near Gogland Island. The operations were held during August and September, 2003–2004. The results show that the flow speed field has low-frequency spectrum of pulsation with lowest frequency 2 Hz along with average components of 15–30 cm/s.
